    Dear friends of ECA and LECAF, and V7PC family,

    Please join us to “Open the Door to ECA” with our 2023 annual appeal for Evangel Christian Academy (ECA) by the Leonard ECA Foundation (LECAF).

    Colossians 4:3  “..Pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mysteries of Christ…”

    An open door represents access for students to:

    1. A high quality classical and Christian education to better prepare them to glorify God and live lives of witness.
    2. Faculty who enrich each aspect of education with the Gospel (Evangel) of Jesus Christ
    3. Partial tuition assistance based on need

    There are four goals for the Open the Door to ECA 2023 LECAF Appeal for ECA:

    1. Provide partial scholarships for 20 students
    2. Raise funds for urgent roof and water main replacements at the elementary campus
    3. Increase the Ezekiel Award Endowment for faculty awards for excellence in Christian Education
    4. Increase the LECAF Scholarship Endowment for interest return to ECA

    Scholarships for partial tuition are strategic. Partial scholarships are combined with funds from families and other scholarships to reach the full tuition.  We would like to raise $50,000 with this year’s annual appeal to contribute to an ECA education for 20 or more students. 

    There is a current need of $75,000 at the elementary school for urgent replacement of the roof and water main.

    The purpose of The Ezekiel Award is to encourage and retain excellent teachers of effective Christian witness.  Since 2007, there have been 21 recipients.  Click on “Ezekiel Award” at lecaf.org to learn more.

    With your appeal donation, LECAF seeks to grow the total endowment, currently at $425,000, to one million dollars over the next five years.  This would enable significant yearly interest to support ECA.

Contributions are made after fulfilling promised contributions to the church you attend and ECA.
